Stop, check, protect
Stop and think
Got a call, text, email or social media message that feels unusual?
Pause before you act. Scammers often create a sense of urgency to pressure people into making quick decisions.
Taking a moment to stop and think can help you spot the warning signs.
Check before you do anything
If you're unsure whether a message or phone call is genuine, contact us directly through the Unloan app or our website.
Don't use contact details or links provided in the message you've received.
Protect yourself
If something doesn't feel right:
Hang up the phone
Block the number
Delete the email, text or message
Report the scam if possible
It's always better to be cautious.
What Unloan will never ask you to do
We'll never ask you to:
Share your passwords or account login details
Transfer money or buy gift cards
Sign in to your account through a link sent by email or SMS
Move money to a "safe" account
Help us catch cyber criminals
Share your screen with us
Download remote access software
If anyone asks you to do any of the above and claims to be from Unloan, it's a scam.
Why we might contact you

Even when we contact you, we'll never ask you to transfer money, share your screen or tell us your passwords.
