What Are Pre-Settlement Conditions?

Before we can settle your loan, there might be a few final steps to tick off. These are called pre-settlement conditions, and we’re here to make them simple.

Updated this week

What Are They?

Pre-settlement conditions are personalised requirements based on your financial situation. They’re part of your loan agreement and help make sure everything’s in order before settlement day.

Depending on your circumstances, we might ask you to:

  • Pay off, reduce limits or close credit cards and/or BNPL facilities

  • Reduce or clear certain debts

  • Close existing home loans

Your dedicated Unloan Settlement Specialist will guide you through exactly what’s needed.

What Do You Need to Do?

If pre-settlement conditions apply to you, you’ll need to:

  1. Complete the required actions (like paying off a credit card).

  2. Provide evidence to show they’ve been met before settlement.

This helps us confirm everything’s ready to go.

Almost There!

Once your pre-settlement conditions are sorted, you’re all set for settlement day. Whether you’re moving into your new home or locking in a better deal, you’re one step closer to enjoying Unloan’s low-rate, no-fee home loans.

Keep in mind: not everyone will have pre-settlement conditions. If you do, we’ll let you know. And remember we’re here to help if you have questions.
