Changing your legal name
If your legal name has changed, you need to let us know so we can update your records.
What you’ll need:
To update your name, please provide:
One of the following:
Change of name certificate (from an Australian State or Territory registry)
Marriage Certificate (from an Australian State or Territory registry)
Divorce order (from an Australian court or a recognised foreign court)
Plus two of the following (in your current, or previous name)
Australian driver license
Australian passport (not expired for more than two years)
Utility bill (from the last 3 months, showing your name and address)
Once you've got your documents ready, contact us via:

We’ll then arrange a quick video call via Microsoft Teams to confirm your identity. Make sure you’re in a well-lit space with a good internet connection as we’ll take a screen capture of you and your ID.
Updating your email or mobile number
You can update your contact details in just a few steps.
First, verify your current details:
Go to Settings
Select Personal Details
Tap Email or Mobile
Enter the codes sent to your current email and mobile
Click Continue.
Then, update your new details:
To change your email:
Enter your new email
Enter the code sent to it
You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s updated
To change your mobile number:
Enter your new number
Enter the SMS code
You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s updated

Updating your residential or postal address
Go to Settings and select Personal Details
Select Address
Enter your residential address and hit Update address
Tick the Use as mailing address if relevant
Wait for the green tick
