Managing account permissions with a co-borrower

Here’s how to update who can authorise changes on your joint Unloan account.

What’s this feature?

If you’ve got a joint Unloan home loan, you can choose how account changes are approved, either by one borrower or both.

Why it matters

It gives you control over how decisions are made, so you and your co-borrower can manage your loan together, your way.

How to update your account permissions

  1. Log into your app

  2. Head to your home loan account and click the cog icon

  3. On the Manage your home loan screen, scroll to Account Permissions under Payment Settings

  4. You’ll see your current settings for AutoPay and withdrawals. By default, they’re All to authorise

  5. Want to switch to One to authorise for either AutoPay withdrawals or both?

    • Submit a change request

    • Your co-borrower will get a notification to approve or decline

    • Once approved, you’ll both get a confirmation email

  6. Switching back to All to authorise?

    • No approval needed, your change will be applied instantly

    • You'll both get a confirmation email
