Before you make an offer
Your Conditional Approval gives you an indication of how much you may be able to borrow, but it isn’t final loan approval.
Before signing a Contract of Sale or bidding at auction, you might consider having the contract reviewed by a solicitor or conveyancer.
Depending on the sale and your circumstances, you may also want to speak with your solicitor or conveyancer about conditions such as a finance clause.
If your offer is accepted
Once you’ve secured the property and have a Contract of Sale:
Complete any remaining property details and loan information in your application.
Upload your Contract of Sale.
Complete any outstanding income documents or identity checks we ask for.
An Unloan Lending Specialist can then complete the full assessment of your application. This includes:
reviewing your documents and verifying your information
assessing the property value
confirming your application meets Unloan’s lending criteria.
Remember, Conditional Approval doesn’t guarantee final approval. Your home loan can only receive final approval once the full assessment is complete.
